“Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself.”

The above quote is from movement educator Moshe Feldenkrais and sums up the philosophy of Bader Movement. Our years of participating in our modern sedentary lifestyle have led us to become disconnected from our physical body, our breath, our sense of inner feeling, our emotions, and our connection to something greater.

Embodied health is the goal of working with me. Many times, our well-being is affected by a disconnect to some aspect of ourselves. This might be caused by a previous injury, a disease, a previous trauma, or some other conflict. I want to help you reconnect with your body, breath, and mind helping you discover more harmonious ways of moving and breathing. This can involve exercises to help you develop an “X-ray vision” to learn the subtle rhythms of your musculoskeletal system, breathwork to create a direct relationship with your physiology, meditation to lead you to a calm and resilient mental state, and relaxation techniques to release any chronic tension that you may be holding.

Many sources of inspiration help define my work. While my primary training is in therapeutic yoga, I have studied kinesiology, biomechanics, and exercise physiology in-depth and can draw upon a large knowledge base during our sessions.
